A healthcare organization in Texas is currently seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Occupational Medicine team in Grayson County.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
The Occupational Medicine NP / PA will:
Evaluate and treat patient
Perform physical, mental status and medical history examinations; record findings subsequently reviewed and countersigned by supervising physician
Follow patient progress and make changes in treatment as necessary
Participate in business development, when requested, to discuss health and safety needs and conduct workplace walk-through and other on-site assessments
Perform other tasks and duties reasonably requested by the Chief Medical Officer
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
TN Nurse Practitioner (NP) and or Physician Assistant (PA) license
Registration with National Registry of Certified Medical Examiner
Current DEA licensure
State Controlled Substance licensure
Current CPR registration
Experience/ability to suture
Solid assessment and documentation skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills:
Experience in an Emergency Room, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ortho, and/or Urgent Care setting
