We are working with MercyOne Siouxland Hospital in Sioux City, IA. They are seeking hospitalist coverage starting in December. MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center has earned more national recognition for quality patient outcomes than any other hospital in the region. Trauma Level 2 Hospitalist (IM)
• December Start
• Sporadic shifts in 2024 - Ongoing
• 7a-7p
• No call
• Inpatient, rounding, admitting.
• Team includes 8 MD and 12 APP. High acuity with some tertiary level care.
• Adults only
• APP support and provide coverage; not required to supervise other healthcare professionals
• Other Hospitalists will be present during coverage (not solo)
• Patient Load: 16-20 inpatient encounters per doc
• Admits: 18-20 per day
• No ICU: intensivist covers our ICU
• Hospitalist responds to in-house codes
• # of ICU beds: 20
• EMR: Cerner Powerchart
• Privs: 30-45 days Ashlei Landrum | Recruiter
