WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Suffolk County, NY!

Job Function:

• Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician
• Very fast paced – work inpatient, outpatient, mobile, OR, ER.
• Exposure to a variety of cases and multiple types of studies- OR, ER, Burn, Trauma, fluoroscopy, etc.
• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment according to policy and procedure
• Ability to explain procedures to patients

• Exposure to a variety of settings- Inpatient, Outpatient, Mobile, OR, ED, Neo-Natal – NICU

• Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient
• Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
