Description
A healthcare organization in New York is looking to add a licensed OB/GYN to join one of their federally qualified health center (FQHCs) in Rockland County.
Responsibilities:
The OB/GYN will:
- Perform well-woman exams, including pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams
- Provide gynecological care, such as treating infections, managing contraception, and performing minor surgeries
- Provide prenatal care, including monitoring the health of the mother and baby, performing ultrasounds, and ordering other tests.
- Assist with the delivery of babies
- Counsel patients on sexual and reproductive health
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- NYS Medicaid
Desired Skills:
- Experience working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
