Description
A pharmaceutical company in Connecticut has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new Supply Chain Logistics Consultant. In this role, the ???Supply Chain Logistics Consultant (Remote) will be responsible for reviewing and processing the company's Global and US import and export shipments.
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Logistics Consultant (Remote) will:
- Determining appropriate import/ export requirements based on commodity and shipment details
- Preparing proforma / commercial invoices for international shipments
- Instruct customs brokers on import entry requirements
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations globally
- Conduct and completes trade compliance planning for imports globally
- Log activity on a transactional basis for the purposes of trend analyses, performance metric reports, recordkeeping, and productivity evaluations
- Interface with management, internal/ external customers, and suppliers |
- Work closely with Clinical Supply teams to support related import activities
- Supporting the investigation of corrective action/preventative action as applicable
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Computer savvy
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of commercial/ approved products logistics
