A healthcare system in California is currently a licensed Physician, with a Family and/or Internal Medicine background, for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Los Angeles.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire potential)
• Specialty: Family / Internal Medicine 
• Patient Population: All ages
• Patient Volume: 20 per day
• EMR: ECW

• Examining and diagnosing patients for treatment or evaluative purposes
• Working collaboratively with Physicians, staff and administration to improve clinical outcomes and quality of care.
• Ensuring that the delivery of care is efficient and effective
• Consulting with other Physicians, Specialist and Para-professional personnel regarding care of patients and medical diagnostics
• Supervising and reviewing the care provided by mid-level providers and students
• Conducting specialized research, special studies and services upon appropriate approval
• Assisting in the administrative responsibilities for budget preparation procuring and evaluating equipment and supplies
• Performing other duties, as needed

• 5 years of experience in a Primary Care and/or OBGYN environment
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California
• Board Certified / Eligible in Family and/or Internal Medicine
• Familiarity with E-Clinical Works
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
