Description
A healthcare organization in Upstate New York is currently seeking a licensed Anesthesiologist to join their growing team in Clinton County.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 3:30pm
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Volume: 4 to 5 per day
Responsibilities:
The Anesthesiologist will:
- Oversee the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition
- Assist with the performance of clinical interventions, as needed
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Anesthesiology
- ACLS certification
Desired Skills:
- Experience in an OB/GYN, Ortho, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular, Colorectal Surgery, ENT, GI, and/or Urology setting
