Description
A recognized medical services network has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new Dental Claims Cash Poster.
***This a Remote opportunity; however, the qualified professional must be able to work EST hours.***
Responsibilities:
The Dental Claims Cash Poster (Remote) will:
- Receive payments from insurance companies, patients, or third-party payers
- Verify the accuracy of payment information, including the amount received, date of payment, and payment method
- Enter payment details into the practice management or billing software accurately
- Reconcile payments received with the corresponding dental insurance claims
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the expected payment and the actual payment received
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions related to dental claims
- Keep track of payment trends, denials, and other relevant financial data
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Collections / Follow-up experience, including at least 3 years of experience with Cash Posting
- 2+ years of experience with dental claims
- High School Diploma / GED
- Proactive and Metrics Driven approach to efficiently working collections
- Customer service oriented
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
