Description
A health services agency in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days a week)
- Hours: 15 hours per week
- Setting: Shelter
- Patient Population: Homeless
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will:
- Clarify diagnoses
- Participate in care conferences
- Perform crisis intervention
- Work alongside Program and Agency Leadership to help design and implement care strategies to improve client outcomes
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- NYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
