Description
A health services network in New Jersey is currently seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Urology team in Southern New Jersey.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday
- Hours: 7am to 5pm (Mon) & 11am to 7pm (Tues-Thurs)
- Setting: Level 2 Trauma Center
- Patient Volume: 20-30 consults a day
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:
The Physician Assistant (PA) will:
- Conducting thorough medical histories and performing physical examinations focused on urological concerns
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies and laboratory tests
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for various urological disorders
- Assisting in urological procedures, such as cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, and other minor surgical interventions
- Educating patients about urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- NJS Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
