Locum Tenens Opportunity for NP/PA Hospitalist in Iowa Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) seeking a rewarding locum tenens assignment in the heart of Iowa? Join our healthcare team and become an essential part of delivering exceptional patient care in a challenging yet fulfilling environment. We are actively seeking a skilled NP/PA to cover sporadic shifts, providing critical support to our Emergency Department (ED) and Hospitalist team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring continuous coverage during 24-96 hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, directly contributing to patient care in the ED and Hospitalist setting. This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in emergency medicine and hospitalist care. Job Details: Profession: NP/PA Specialty: Hospitalist Default Rate Type: Hourly Start Date: As soon as possible End Date: Ongoing Number of Providers Needed: 1 Shift Type: Days Shift Description: 24-96 hour shifts Monday-Thursday (in house) Weekend Requirements: Not applicable On Call Requirements: Monday 7 am - Friday 7 am Mandated Job Requirements: Board Certified Experience in the Emergency Department Active Iowa license (highly preferred) Local candidates preferred given the sporadic nature of the need Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP Rates to submit: Orientation Daily (per 24 hours shift) Holiday Daily Certification Requirements: ACLS ATLS BLS NRP PALS License Requirements: Iowa Job Description: We are actively seeking an NP/PA ED Hospitalist to provide coverage on a sporadic basis. This role entails covering Emergency Department duties during 24-96 hour shifts from Monday to Thursday (in house). Coverage is required when the core team is unavailable due to illness, vacation, or other reasons.
