Description
A specialty medical services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Physician to join their staff as their new Addiction Medicine Physician.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 3pm
Responsibilities:
The Addiction Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
- Supervising and reviewing the of all medical staff including nurse practitioner and nurses.
- Evaluating patients’ clinical history, physical examination, and appropriate lab data.
- Maintaining registration with DEA, certification as an HIV Care provider
- Maintaining 25 category education credits in primary care, addition medicine or primary care HIV
- Collaborating with Clinic Directors on quality improvements efforts at the clinics
- Performing other duties. as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in an Adult Primary Care role/setting
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Certified in Addiction Medicine
- Board Certified in Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine
