Description
The University of Iowa Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. Excitingly, a new Pediatric ER unit is set to launch in 2025, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and future of the department.
Department Overview:
At UI Hospitals & Clinics and UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital, we deliver patient and family-centered care in a state-of-the-art facility. Our Emergency Department, built in 2008, collaborates across disciplines to optimize care for critically ill children and adults. As the only Level 1 trauma center in Iowa for both children and adults, we offer expertise 24/7. Joining our Pediatric Emergency Department means becoming part of a nationally recognized team committed to family-centered care.
Summary of Position:
The Pediatric ER boasts a dedicated wing that shares all resources with the ER department. With the building of a new unit underway, set to be completed in 2025, this role provides an opportunity to shape its growth and make a significant impact. Qualifications:
