Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technician (Echo Experience) Location: Waco, TX
Job Summary: An Inpatient facility located in Hamilton County, TX is seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician with expertise in Echo procedures.
As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic ultrasound examinations and producing high-quality images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
This position offers a competitive pay range of $38 to $42 per hour, full benefits, health insurance, paid time off, and additional relocation and sign-on bonuses.
Responsibilities: - Perform ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment, focusing on Echo procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them, ensuring their comfort and cooperation during the examination.
- Adjust ultrasound equipment settings to obtain the best possible images, considering the patient's condition and the specific procedure requirements.
- Analyze diagnostic information to provide preliminary findings and transmit results to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of ultrasound images.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures, findings, and other relevant information.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology, attending training sessions and continuing education opportunities as required.
Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician, preferably with a focus on Echo procedures.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in performing Echo procedures.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Benefits: - Competitive pay range: Up to $42 per hour, depending on experience.
- Full benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off
- Relocation Bonus: $5,000 for candidates living outside of Hamilton County, TX. (Must relocate within Hamilton County to be eligible for the bonus).
- Sign-on Bonus: $10,000.
