Houlton, Maine: We invite a confident Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established and financially secure rural health center (FQHC) with 50 years of successful operation. This nonprofit runs practices in 7 towns providing primary care, urgent care, mental health, dentistry, podiatry, physical therapy and more, serving thousands of patients across a large section of central/northern Maine.QUALIFIED NEW GRADUATES and NHSC Scholars are encouraged to apply. Join the popular primary care team and enjoy a rewarding outpatient-only practice caring for patients of all ages – many of whom are uninsured or underinsured. This full time position comes with a terrific weekday schedule - with no nights, weekends or holidays. You will enjoy practicing in a modern facility with state-of-the-art technology, electronic medical records, and excellent team-oriented support to provide the best possible patient care. This practice has a terrific 1:1 provider to nurse ratio.
