Qualified Candidates / Job Description:
Applicants must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services by the American Board of Emergency Medicine
Be able to devote an average of 5 hours per week to the fellowship
Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach and supervise EMS fellows, EM residents on their EMS rotation, and visiting medical students
There is opportunity for a clinical role within the Emergency Department with protected time, if desired. The position is also offered independent of the requirement of a clinical EM appointment.
The UCF/HCA Healthcare EMS Fellowship collaborates with several clinical and teaching sites such as the Osceola County Fire Department, Kissimmee Fire Department, St. Cloud Fire Department, HCA Florida Osceola Regional, Orlando Health Air Care, Nemours Children Hospital and the Orlando Medical Institute, a paramedic training institution
