Bronchoscopy Program Director – Upscale Baltimore Suburb

About the Position

The Department is seeking to hire a highly skilled Pulmonary/Critical Care physician who will design and create a robust EBUS program. The new physician will join a well-trained, highly collaborative team within the Pulmonary and Critical Care Divisions and work closely with the largest community cancer center in the region. The center manages many clinical trials – NIH and Industry sponsored, allowing for opportunities to participate in multiple types of research. Opportunities to participate on the tumor board, endoscopy committee as well as establish a Lung Nodule Clinic.

In addition to leading the Bronchoscopy program, the Director will also “attend” in the Critical Care Unit with the opportunity to supervise and teach residents.

• Cover closed units every 4th weekend, shared with Intensivists
• Weekend blocks are 8-9 daytime and 3-4 night/Year. Post days off
• Cover units 2 Weekday night sifts per month
• On campus clinic and shared with 4 PulmCC’s
• ½ day clinic and ½ day consults available
