Description
VHS is looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist for Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania!
Hospital Details
- NICU Level: Level III
- Total Annual Hospital Deliveries: 2,000
- Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 50-60
- MFM onsite? Yes
- In house anesthesia - Yes
- Residency Program & Type? Yes – Family medicine residents rotate on L&D floor
- Additional details: Will work alongside hospital-employed hospitalist and CNM. They will provide backup.
Program Details
- Program Start Date: November 2023
- 12 or 24 Hour Shifts: 24 hour
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes – Emergent
- Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions:? No
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No
- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
