Physician / Hospitalist / Georgia / Permanent / Hospitalist Job

Excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join this established team in Savannah, GA.

Our team is comprised of 30 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers (APPs), including a dedicated nocturnal team.
We are also supported by our group’s own clinical performance nurses and program manager and coordinator.
Our clinicians bring diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who lean on and learn from each other in their approach to patient care.
We have a team-oriented approach with other hospital department leaders and managers, as they are eager to offer help to assist in our practice.
We value providers who are team players and are comfortable leading a treatment team for each patient.
Practice:

This is an established tertiary care hospital that receives transfers from all surrounding counties and across state lines.
We have day and swing admitters throughout the day, as well as dedicated nocturnists.
There is a resident-led MET/RRT team, and hospital medicine does not respond to codes.
The hospital has a closed ICU with a separate intensivist group. We do not require procedures.
We’re looking for board-certified/eligible internal medicine and family medicine candidates.
Our EMR is Epic, with access to our own internal informatics platform.
Compensation ranges from $1497 (day) to $1797 (night) per shift and $400 moonlighting for extra shifts above the threshold. We also offer quality and productivity incentives.
