Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Review of all medication orders from prescribers utilizing facility's computer systems.
- Interpret and analyze patient specific medical data.
- Fill orders with correct medication and ensure prescription labels are processed accurately.
- Provide consultation with prescribers regarding drug therapy of patients.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians.
- Handle and maintain all controlled substances records.
- Review pharmacy technician's prepared orders.
- Report pharmacist interventions and quality management (QM) activities.
- Visual checking of all medications dispensed by the automated machine for accuracy.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' drug therapy.
- Any other duties as assigned.
