Description
Adelphi is seeking a physician (internist) to provide care to patients at a facility in Midvale, Utah. The physician will be tasked with performing comprehensive medical assessments for accurate diagnoses and formulating tailored treatment protocols, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of medical care.

Requirements:
- MD/DO
- Active UT license
- BC/BE (Board certification within 2 years of employment)
- DEA License
- Be able to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs or any similar government-funded health care program
Responsibilities:
- Performs history and physical examinations as indicated.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
- Initiates and/or recommends medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatment and procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policy.
- Complies with medical records policies regarding the complete and accurate documentation of patient care.
- Participates in quality improvement activities.
- Counsels patients, families and significant others about health and illness, and promotes health maintenance.
- Evaluates, plans, implements, and re-evaluates the care of individuals requiring emergency measures.
- Supervise mid-level health care providers as assigned.
- Perform and/or participate in any administrative duties which may be ancillary to the providing of clinical care, as necessary to perform professional functions.
- Comply with all applicable laws and canons of professional ethics.
- Maintain a practice of medicine consistent with recognized standards of medical care and perform all activities in accordance with those standards.
- Any other duties as assigned. Salary and Benefits Package: 225k starting salary, 125k sign-on bonus, student loan repayment, among others.
