Description
Cardiothoracic Surgeon needed in Salem, OR (Perm Position)
Fulltime, Permanent
Work Schedule: 7-5 in Clinic with weekend and night call (or any combination of this)
Call 1:4
Patient Volume: 7 Cardiac ICU – 5 hearts a week – 3 thoracic
Staffing Mix: 2 cardiac & 2 PAS
Not-for-profit hospital, licensed for 644 acute care beds
Largest private employer in the state of Oregon
Level II trauma center and Life Flight hub
Busiest emergency department on the West Coast
Magnet® designation
EPIC EMR
At least four (4) years licensed experience
Demonstrate the performance of at least 100 cardiac surgery procedures in the past 24 months
Documented clinical experience including 100 career AVRs (10 of which are high-risk) or 25 AVRS in 12 months or 50 AVRs in 24 months (including 20 AVRs in year before TAVR)
BC/ BE OR license, ACLS, ATLS, BLS and COVID vaccine required
