BAR HARBOR, Maine: We invite a skilled NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to join the INPATIENT HOSPITALIST staff of an exceptional 25-bed critical access hospital in this unique coastal location.Join a collegial team of specialists caring for a mostly adult population (average hospital census is 12-14 patients). The hospital has a 3-bed ICU, though the most intensive care patients are referred to the nearest tertiary care center. You will be paired with a Hospitalist Physician and will enjoy a convenient schedule of 3 12-hour daytime shifts/week (7:30am to 7:30pm). This hospital recently moved to Cerner as their EMR.
