The Trauma Research Director should enjoy teaching surgical critical care fellows, residents and medical students and pursuing research and other scholarly activities. 

?This is an excellent opportunity to have a pivotal role as the Surgery Department grows clinically and academically as a regional referral center for surgical disease.

Position Highlights:

• Trauma, surgical critical care, emergency general surgery and burns
• Teach surgical critical care fellows, residents and med students
• The only level I trauma center for a 270-mile radius
• Annual trauma volume of 3,900+; approx. 650 with Injury Severity Score >/= 15
