Medstaff is looking for an Anesthesiologist for coverage about 1 hour from Wilmington, NC.

Here are the details:

• Monday through Monday coverage, Mon-Fri 7am-3pm in-house, with night and weekend call
• Specific dates July/Aug, Oct/Nov, Dec/Jan
• Both inpatient (10%) and outpatient (90%) clinical responsibilities
• Inpatient census is about 34 patients per day
• Hospital handles about 175 surgical cases per month
• B&B cases: GS / ENT / Ortho / OB-Gyn / Cataracts / Peds Dental, endoscopy (peds > age 2)
• No ICU/Critical Care Duties, will not be back up in the ER
• Must be able to provide anesthesia independently
• Must be comfortable providing Pediatric Anesthesia on healthy children
• Epic EMR
• Requires Board Certification, CV in month/year format, NC License, NC DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, recent experience and references to present
