• Additional Info: - Provide clinical leadership as the director of the OB/GYN department. - Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - 2-5 Years experience in medicine, preferably in a group setting - Able to work effectively with and as a team player - Ability to suggest and write policies and procedures specific to the OB/GYN department - Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - AZ license - Experience as a Chief of Obstetrics or Chief of Medical Staff - Experience supervising, planning, assigning, and directing work of OB/GYN Providers and support staff - Experience as a member or peer review committee, surgical care committee, or similar committees - Administrative and Management experience
