• Only level I trauma center for a 270-mile radius
• Tertiary/quaternary referral center for a ~45K square mile area w/ catchment of 1.25M
• Annual trauma volume of 3,900+; approx. 650 with Injury Severity Score >/= 15

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Create and maintain policies, procedures and guidelines related to activities involved in the care of burn patients
• Appoint qualified acute care surgeons to participate in care of burn patients
• Coverage of Trauma, Critical Care, Acute Care and Emergency General Surgery
• Clinical teaching and supervision to Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students
• Stipend for burn call can be done while on acute care surgery call
• Guaranteed comp for Assistant Professor $426K + annual incentives

REQUIREMENTS:

• ACGME approved residency in GS, surgical critical care fellowship, ABA certified burn fellowship
• BC/BE in general surgery/surgical critical care
