Physician / ObGyn / North Carolina / Locum tenens / Locum Tenens OBGYN Opening in the Outer Banks of NC Job

Medstaff is assisting with OBGYN coverage for a client located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

• Looking for a Board Certified OBGYN Physician with NC license, DEA, (AHA) BLS, ACLS, NRP and recent OBGYN experience
• 830a-430p Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri in the clinic and then shared weeknight and weekend call 1:3
• Weekend call is 7am Friday through 7am Monday, thru Nov 4, possibly ongoing
• Average 7-10 calls per month
• Average daily inpatient census is about 3-4 and another 3-4 in labor and delivery
• Approx 1-2 admits per day and about 2-3 admits per night
• Physician will see about 16-20 patients per day (outpatient clinic and/or inpatient)
• Will respond to codes, but there are no ICU/CCM duties
• OBGYN procedures if called to ER: C-sections, vaginal deliveries; in the office: LEEP, Colposcopy, Endometrial Biopsies
• EMR is EPIC
• Mileage, lodging and malpractice are provided
