This is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Join a team of advanced practice practitioners working in a new School Based Health service. You will be the first in-person/onsite healthcare provider in an Elementary School now joining this expanding service. You will help shape the foundational elements of this developing service in a new site, working from the ground up, supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team. On the job, you will provide primary care and urgent care to mostly pediatric patients. Your schedule will generally be Mon-Fri (40 hours/week). When school is not in session (summer, holiday breaks, etc.) you will rotate to one of the health center’s Walk-In-Care services. In these practices, located in and around Bangor, teams of providers offer mostly urgent care with some unscheduled “walk-in” primary care. Services in the Walk-In center can include suturing, splinting, incision and drainage of abscesses, removal of soft tissue foreign bodies, closed reduction of simple fractures and dislocations, etc. The result of this dual role is a balanced practice in which you will maintain skills seeing patients of all ages, assuring your future career mobility.
