Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in South Carolina | July Start | Assignment #101643

Schedule needed:
--14 days per month to start July
--Coverage ongoing until perm hire
--Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with call Monday through Friday, 5pm-8am, Sat/Sun 24 hours round and on call

Details/Requirements:
--Clean malpractice preferred
--Active South Carolina license or license already in process
--Required procedures: will attend high risk deliveries and develop a plan of care for each infant while collaborating with physicians in Charleston via Telehealth technology.
--Must be confident and have the experience and knowledge to make decisions about patient care while relaying key information to collaborating physicians located off-site.
--Strong leadership skills are required
--Must be comfortable with patients 32 weeks and above, resuscitation, CPAP, peripheral IVs, ART sticks, managing ventilators, administering pulmonary surfactant, umbilical lines, catheters, and other sick baby related procedures. Circumcision is a must, will provide training with Plastibell if needed.
--Must have telehealth experience
--Nursery Level 1 and II
--Two to three deliveries/day - only a portion of those babies will need level II care
--FY22 was 553 deliveries and FY23 was 477
