Description
I am working with CHI St Joseph Health in Park Rapids, MN and they are looking for some temporary 24 hour weekend on call General Surgery coverage over the next several months. I wanted to touch base with you to see if you might have any availability to help out. 13 ER beds
9800 Annual ER Volume This facility is looking for 24 hour weekend on call coverage July 2024 ongoing
This facility is looking for 1-2 weekends per month of coverage
Weekend on call shift times: Friday am through Monday am
24 hour call each shift
This facility may need additional coverage of 7-10 shifts a month on a periodic basis
Duties: Take call and cover inpatients for general surgery
Procedures: Basic laparoscopic procedures, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, bile duct appendectomy, closure of intestinal perforations, biopsy and hernia repair.
Patients per 24 hours:
Inpatients: 0-2
Admissions: 0-1
Surgeries: 0-2
Rounding: 2-4
Surgeon is responsible for rounding on assigned/unassigned patients
Hands on: 10-20%
Hospital also has robotic surgery program (Da Vinci)
EMR: Meditech
30-60 days to privilege
IMLC candidates are accepted (LOQ in hand)
$2400 per 24 hour shift including four hours of work in the facility
