Lincoln, Maine: We seek a skilled FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN to join an established nonprofit in a scenic community 45 minutes north of Bangor where over 100 employees serve 24,000 residents of 19 towns. This award-winning Federally Qualified Health Center provides family medical care, walk-in care, prenatal care, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, podiatry, dental care, school-based health and patient education in 5 locations. A sliding fee scale is offered to help underserved patients.This organization prioritizes the needs of today’s physicians. With modest patient volume (16/day) you get plenty of time with each patient so you can provide the best possible care. You will have a convenient schedule of four 10-hour days/week (36 patient contact hours) practicing in a beautiful 28,000 sq. ft. healthcare complex – a bright, modern facility with up-to-date technology, on-site lab, and fully integrated EMR. If preferred, you could be the lead provider in a smaller satellite practice in Medway, Maine, 20 minutes north of Lincoln. Physicians requiring H1b or J1 visa support are encouraged to apply. MD/DO are equally welcome. Physicians in RESIDENCY may qualify for a stipend that continues until you graduate. Physicians here do not do obstetrics, though doctors with interests in Women’s Health and Prenatal Care are welcome. Candidates with interests in Addiction Medicine/Suboxone Certification are likewise encouraged to apply. Teaching and precepting is available for those interested in sharing their knowledge.
