Cardiovascular Surgery Call Coverage Locums Job in Southern New Mexico | Seeking Intermittent Monthly Coverage Starting ASAP + Ongoing

Jackson + Coker is partnered with a southern New Mexico facility in need of a Cardiovascular Surgeon starting asap and ongoing through 2024. Seeking 24-hour inpatient call coverage for dates that the local and staffed physicians cannot cover. Specific dates of coverage will vary on a monthly basis but will be provided in advance to determine if you can help with the stretches needed. 

Details/Requirements for assignment #101908:
-- Active & unrestricted New Mexico license required + must also have ACLS, ATLS, BLS & PALS certifications to be granted privileges
-- Board Certification and/or true eligibility required for this assignment
-- Dates of coverage will vary on a monthly basis; start & end times will always be 7A - 7A
-- Covering ED / inpatient setting while on call covering both attached & unattached patients; Will be required to complete daily patient rounding and to do emergent surgeries
-- Patient volume will vary by the day - approximate 3-5 per day 
-- Support staff: RNs are available while on call, with NPs + PAs to support 
-- Facility detail: Level IV trauma designation, located in southern in New Mexico, 175 staffed beds, Meditech EMR
-- Privileges take approximately 6 weeks and require a committee meeting
