Medstaff is assisting with Gastroenterology coverage for a client located in the southern suburbs of Peoria, IL.
Here are the details:

• Looking for a Board Certified GI physician, with an IL license, IL CSR, DEA and at least 2 years of recent experience
• M-F, 8am-430pm, no call, no weekends
• Mainly adult patients, geriatrics, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial
• 15-18 patients per day seen in the clinic, surgical volumes vary, will do more procedural time than clinical each week
• All general GI procedures - mainly colonoscopy screenings and EGDs. EUS and ERCPs are not required at this location.
• EMR is EPIC
• Requires Proof of COVID Vaccine and a clean background
• Credentialing will take about 60-90 days for the hospital
• 4 month commitment, possibly ongoing
