Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job | Inpatient Coverage Starting July + Ongoing | Seeking 1-3 Physicians to Cover 1-2 Weeks/Month Ongoing
Jackson + Coker is partnered with a nationally recognized client on the coast of Virginia that is in need of Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens support starting this July. Here's the opportunity to work within one of the nation's highest quality, top rated multi-specialty heart programs, respected and best known for their comprehensive approach to diagnosis and patient care.
Coverage Need/Schedule:
* Seeking 1-3 Surgeons to assist with coverage starting in July (willing to consider a minimum of 1 week/month of availability)
* Will cover 12-hour inpatient shifts Monday - Wednesday + Friday during the week from 7A - 7P
* Will have a split day on Thursday, working from 7A-12P & 12P-4:30P doing a mix of post-op consults/rounding, new consults and/or admin work
* Will cover night + weekend (Sat/Sunday) call coverage at a 1:30 rotation
Details/Requirements Assignment #101971:
-- Active and unrestricted Virginia license + DEA required
-- Board Certification required
-- Required procedures: ABG, AVR, MVR, type a dissection, TAVR, ECMO, Impella 5.5
-- Preferred procedures: MVV, general thoracic no esophagus, heart transplant donor, harvest, ascending aortic & non-aortic root surgery
-- Will work alongside of two other CT Surgeons + an entire team of heart specialists physicians & APPs
-- Facility detail: will primarily work at a heart 100+ bed hospital that's on the same campus of a larger, multispecialty facility | Epic EMR
