New Trauma/ACS Surgery Locums Job in Massachusetts 

Our client in Massachusetts is searching for a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to cover the following shifts. Preference for the full week, but they're open to weekend call coverage as well.

Coverage Dates: 
--August 23-30
--September 20-27
--October 25-November 1
--November 30-December 6
--December 20-27

Details/Requirements for Assignment #101893:
--Coverage: Currently seeking coverage the above weeks Friday-Friday. Open to weekends only if that is all your availability allows.
--Must be Massachusetts licensed and Board Certified 
--There is a PA on site during the day full time and a Surgical Resident Monday through Friday days
--Onsite 7A-5P, on call (within 30 minute response) 5P-7A
--Average number of cases during the day 1-3 and you can expect to see 3-4 consults in the evenings
--Typical cases seen: appendicitis, cholecystitis, diverticulitis, hernias, bowel obstruction
--Level III trauma hospital 
--EMR EPIC
--Privileging process can be done in one to two months
