Wonderful Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity in Tallahassee, FL

This practice is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed team of physicians. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our Integrated Cardiovascular Service Line and advance our Quaternary care program. We are looking for a dedicated professional with expertise in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive robotic techniques and proficiency in vascular services, TAVR, and endovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

Perform a comprehensive range of adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including On and Off-Pump CABG, Mitral Repair, TAVR, arrhythmia surgery, and aortic surgery (open and endovascular)
Utilize minimally invasive techniques for lung resections, esophagectomy, and anti-reflux procedures
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in practice, ER, and hospital call rotation (1:4)
Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs)
Maintain a clinic schedule of one day per week, with four days dedicated to surgical procedures and in-patient management

Qualifications:

Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Experience and interest in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, with proficiency in minimally invasive robotic techniques
Knowledge and experience in vascular services, TAVR, and endovascular procedures preferred
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
