We are seeking an experienced General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team at our new Dawsonville hospital location. This brand-new facility, opening in the Spring of 2024, will cater to the needs of the rapidly growing Northeast Georgia market. Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of elective outpatient surgeries in the Dawsonville market, focusing on bread and butter general surgery procedures
Collaborate with a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver comprehensive patient care, including rounding and clinic visits
Demonstrate proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
Function effectively as part of a care delivery team, utilizing resources efficiently to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to support the growth and development of the surgical team

Qualifications:

Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
Board-certified in General Surgery
Demonstrated interest and proficiency in endoscopy and colonoscopy
Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
Excellent clinical skills and a team-oriented mindset
At least 3 years of surgical experience required
