Locum’s Square is currently searching for an experienced Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Southport, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking a structured outpatient assignment with a collaborative team and consistent weekday schedule.Position Overview
Specialty: Family Practice Physician (Locum Tenens)
Location: Southport, NC
Assignment Length: 6 months Start Date: ASAP (pending credentialing)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This role offers a steady schedule, manageable patient volume, and strong clinical support, making it ideal for an experienced physician looking for a stable locum assignment. Patient Volume: Up to 24 patients per day Support Staff:
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Additional Family Practice Physicians
Physician Assistants (PAs)
Dedicated clinical and administrative support Practice Details
Provide comprehensive outpatient Family Practice care to a diverse patient population.
Occasionally assist at one of the Dosher Medical Clinics when patient care needs arise.
Any additional clinic coverage will be communicated in advance, including specific location details.
Work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care. Provider Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician
Minimum of 3 years of Family Practice experience (no new graduates)
Active North Carolina medical license required
