Facility in Detroit, MI seeking Neonatology locums coverageRates: $400/hr Opportunity Highlights Start Date: May 10, 2026. Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (In-house night call). Confirmed Open Shifts: May: 10th, 24th, 26th. June: 2nd, 4th, 7th, 17th, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 27th. Onboarding: Temporary Privileges approved for urgent needs. Support Staff: Team of 3 full-time, 2 part-time, and 4 contingent neonatologists. EMR: Cerner / PowerChart. Clinical Scope & Volume The locum physician will provide high-acuity neonatal care, including delivery room attendance and neonatal stabilization. Patient Volume: Average of 12 patients per day. Admissions: 0 to 4 per day. Bed Size: 15-bed NICU. Responsibilities: Attendance at C-sections (Required). Neonatal transfers (Required). Note: Coverage of the Level I (Well-Baby) nursery is NOT required. Provider Requirements Residency/Fellowship: Must be Fellowship-trained in Neonatology (Required). Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or true Board Eligible (BE) in Neonatology. Experience: Must be currently working (or have worked in the last 6 months) at a Level III or IV NICU (Required). Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) State License in hand (Required). Certifications: Active BLS, NRP, and ACLS (Required). Background: 100% Clean Background (Required). Submission Needs: * NPDB Self-Query report pulled within 30 days. Statement of which specific open shifts the provider can commit to. Local providers only (Only mileage is reimbursed).
